The library now opens Monday – Friday
at 7:00 a.m. for study purposes and in house use of library
sources including the computer lab. Services providing students
and faculty with book check out and reference desk assistance
will be offered at 8:00 a.m. Library assistants will be available
at the circulation desk from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. to answer
any questions. For further information, please contact Virginia
Segrest by email or call 984-1290.
Evening
Access
The library has also implemented
automated doors to the library that require you to use your
UMC badge for entry after 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday and
on Sunday. On Friday, access requiring your badge begins after
7:00 pm. There is no restriction on Saturday as the library
closes at 7:00 pm. To enter the library after these hours use
your UMC badge in the entry box. (Note that the security guard
is NOT authorized to give you access in case you do
not have your badge.) To leave the library after these hours
press the green button beside the exit door. There is no
public (non-UMC) access to the library after the following
hours:
